Cullen Capital in conjunction with Bonacci Water presented a Review to Sunshine Coast Regional Council on the provision of an integrated water cycle management system at Coolum Ridges a greenfields development at Peregian Springs. In this case potable water is to be collected from rooftops and processed on site with excess being exported to the regional grid. Sewage and grey water recycling will be used for non-potable purposes. This review demonstrated the excellent investment characteristics of local distributed systems and the capacity to deliver water and sewage services at lower cost compared with regional solutions.
